I graduated with a PhD in Screen Cultures from Northwestern University in 2025, where I also worked as an instructor, programmer, and advisor. Now I am an academic researcher, advisor, and culture writer in New York City, which is also the headquarters of my Substack publication, the Famous and Beloved Newsletter.

My current book project is about nonhuman media, and I have published peer-reviewed articles in Postmodern Culture and Environmental Communication. As a freelance writer, I report on, criticize, and review just about anything having to do with art, media, fashion, or celebrity.
